ORU Men’s Soccer Adds Samuel Paslis to 2018 Roster

TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's soccer team signed Samuel Paslis to the 2018 Fall roster it was announced Thursday by Head Coach Ryan Bush.

Samuel Paslis joined the ORU men's soccer team as a 5-foot-9 center midfielder from Sydney, New South Wales. Paslis is a 2016 graduate from Holy Cross College Ryde where he was named the MCC representative in 2015 and 2016. He played club soccer with APIA Leichhardt Tigers and his team was the 2017 NPL U20 grandfinalist and participated in the 2018 Viareggio Cup in Italy as the team captain.

"I chose ORU because it is an excellent program where I can develop my football to take me to a professional level while receiving a college degree" Paslis said.

He is expected to major in finance at ORU. His favorite pro team is Tottenham Hotspur and in his free time he likes to spend time with his family. After he graduates he would like the opportunity to play pro soccer.
