Men’s Soccer Falls 2-1 in Final Minute at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team fell to the Bradley Braves, 2-1, in the final minute of play in Peoria, Illinois.

Bradley's Roman Schindler scored the first goal of the match in the 18th minute when he connected with the back of the net off of a one-on-one battle after receiving the ball from Jha'Lon Johnson to give the Braves a 1-0 lead. Johnson and Gerit Wintermeyer were both credited with assists on the play.

ORU's Alex Torres made it a 1-1 game in the 36th minute after scoring from 20 yards out off of a restart and a pass from Junior Chavez. Chavez and Sam Paslis were given assists on the play and it was Torres' first goal of the season.

Schindler scored his second goal of the match for Bradley in the final minute of regulation off of a header that hit off the goalie and in for the game winning shot that lifted the Braves 2-1 over the Golden Eagles.
