FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In its final meet before conference, the Oral Roberts track and field teams competed at the Arkansas Qualifier at the Randal Tyson Track Center Friday.


The Golden Eagles posted top performances on the women's side in the pole vault and long jump, while the men earned top-10 efforts in the pole vault.

News & Notes
- Tiffany Richeson was the second-best collegiate finisher in the pole vault turning in the third best mark in The Summit League during the indoor season and her all-time personal best. 

- Mercy Abire leapt to third in the long jump as the freshman was just a half inch behind her personal best and still posted the third-best jump in the conference this season.

- Matt Owen and Tommy Dial placed in the top 10 of the pole vault Friday finishing sixth and seventh, respectively. Owen had a career day as the sophomore cleared a personal-best height.

- Michael Burns was the final competitor for the Golden Eagles in the 60 meters as the senior finished 16th in 7.16 seconds.

Pole Vault - Invitational
