ABILENE, Texas – Jaden Purnell posted the top collegiate mark in the triple jump and Oral Roberts student-athletes were among the top five collegians in eight individual events and two relays Saturday at the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational, hosted by Abilene Christian.

Texas Tech was among the other teams competing at the meet, which featured a number of professional athletes in each event.

News & Notes
- Matt Owen cleared the bar at 5.00m (16-4.75) to finish second overall with a new outdoor career best.

- Purnell was the top ORU finisher at second overall, but had the top collegiate mark.

- Cameron Hilliard crossed the line in the women's 400m dash in 57.06, the fastest time by a Golden Eagle during the outdoor season. Hilliard was sixth in the event.

- Other team best performances for the season included: Hope Ngo (1,500m, 5:14.21), Amaya Christon (Long Jump, 5.54m), Erica Baker (Discus, 35.08m), Omeiza Akerele (400m, 47.46), Blayne Hisquierdo (800m, 1:57.80) and Keaton Tillack (110m hurdles, 15.96).

- ORU competed in a number of events for the first time during the early outdoor season.
