FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Jaden Purnell was the only competitor for the Oral Roberts track and field team Friday during the Arkansas Qualifier, but did not disappoint, winning the men's triple jump inside the Randal Tyson Track Center.
The senior from Silver Spring, Maryland, posted the victorious leap of 15.53 meters in his third of five attempts.

-Purnell now has won each and every triple jump title during the indoor season, a perfect 5-for-5, and currently leads The Summit League's performance list heading into the conference championships.
-Friday marked the final competition for the Golden Eagles until The Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championships scheduled for Feb. 22-23 in Brookings, South Dakota, hosted by South Dakota State.
