Golden Eagles Claim Six Victories at Wendy's PSU Tune-Up

PITTSBURG, Kan.  – The Oral Roberts track and field teams won six events, including dominating the sprint events, Friday, at the Wendy's PSU Tune-Up.

News and Notes
- Christina Ollison won two events (200-meter dash, 400-meter dash) to lead the way.

- Alexa Granderson earned her first outdoor championship, and second career win, in the 800-meter run. Granderson also won the indoor 800-meter run at the J.D. Martin Invitational in February. Her time of 2:17.71 was the fastest by a Golden Eagle this season. In the same event, Madolyn Palodichuk set a new personal best in a second place finish, besting her time from the 2018 Jimmy John's ORU Invitational by nearly two seconds.

- Sharon Jepkemoi ran 5:05.61 in the 1,500-meter run, the fastest time of her young career.

- Matt Owen continue to improve in the pole vault, crushing his personal best and topping 17 feet for the first time in his career. Owen beat his personal best by nearly four inches with his vault on Friday.
