► The Oral Roberts University women's basketball team returns seven players from last year's team that made a postseason run in the WBI. However, with the loss of WNBA Draft Pick, Vicky McIntyre, the 2015-16 version will look drastically different. With only two players over six-foot the Golden Eagles will return to an up-tempo style of play as junior Dorottya Balla and sophomores Jordan Doyle and Faith Ihim return to the starting lineup.
► Three starters from last year's team return with Dorottya Balla, Faith Ihim and Jordan Doyle. Balla is the leading returning scorer for ORU after averaging 8.5 points per game. Ihim will look to fill the gap left by McIntyre as she averaged 4.6 boards per game while Doyle led the team in assists with 2.0 last season.
► After missing the 2013-14 season Kaylan Mayberry returns for ORU at guard. Mayberry averaged 12.8 points per game and 2.7 assists per contest in 2013-14, while also shooting 39 percent from behind the three-point line during her freshman season with the Golden Eagles.
► Jordan Gilbert and Jayden Oliver will add depth to the guard position after both earned five combined starts last season. Gilbert averaged 4.4 points per game and 1.5 assists per game before having a breakout performance during the final regular season road swing at Western Illinois where she scored 22 points in a win. Oliver averaged just 3.3 points per game but was a 36 percent three-point shooter last season having played in 26 games.
► Making her Golden Eagle debut will be redshirt-freshman Jasauen Beard who was a highly touted recruit for ORU coming from Midwest City High School in Oklahoma City. A preseason injury in October of last season caused Beard to miss the 2014-15 season, but with her height and athleticism, will compete for a spot in the starting lineup.
