STORYLINES

► Oral Roberts hits the road for the first time in 2015-16 with a quick turnaround at Grand Canyon University. The Golden Eagles will look for revenge after the 'Lopes won in the final seconds, 54-51, last season at the Mabee Center.

► Picking up where she left off last season, sophomore Faith Ihim led ORU in scoring against Evangel Saturday with 15 points. Ihim was also the leading rebounder pulling down six boards in the blowout win.

► Newcomer Bria Pitts was solid in her ORU debut going 3-for-5 from behind the three-point line and scoring a game-high 15 points. Pitts also finished with three assists and three steals.

► Three starters from last year's team return with Dorottya Balla, Faith Ihim and Jordan Doyle. Balla is the leading returning scorer for ORU after averaging 8.5 points per game. Ihim will look to fill the gap left by McIntyre as she averaged 4.6 boards per game while Doyle led the team in assists with 2.0 last season.

► After missing the 2013-14 season Kaylan Mayberry returns for ORU at guard. Mayberry averaged 12.8 points per game and 2.7 assists per contest in 2013-14, while also shooting 39 percent from behind the three-point line during her freshman season with the Golden Eagles.

► The Golden Eagles shined Saturday on both ends of the floor recording 20 steals for the first time since January 23, 2012 against IPFW. Offensively, ORU tallied 19 assists for the first time since posting 19 against St. Gregory's last season on Dec. 29, 2014. ORU bested the mark once on Nov. 29, 2014 against Austin Peay with 20.
