► Oral Roberts will try to win the PSO Mayor's Cup for a second straight year as the Golden Eagles head to Tulsa Friday. It would be the first time ORU has won back-to-back Mayor's Cups since the 2008-09 seasons. The Golden Eagles have dominated the all-time series with the Golden Hurricane, 31-8, however in the last five meetings, TU holds a 3-2 lead in the series.
► Picking up where she left off last season, sophomore Faith Ihim has led ORU in scoring in each of the first two games this season. Against Evangel, Ihim scored 15 points while adding 14 Monday night at Grand Canyon. She also led ORU in rebounding in Phoenix pulling down nine boards.
► Newcomer Bria Pitts was solid in her ORU debut going 3-for-5 from behind the three-point line and scoring a game-high 15 points. Pitts followed that up with another 3-for-10 night from behind the three-point line to finish with 13 points.
► Ihim and Pitts have been two of the best shooters, not just for ORU but among Summit League players so far. Ihim ranks fourth as she enters Friday with a 64.7 field goal percentage, while Pitts sits at 50 percent through two games.
► After finishing last in The Summit League in steals last season, ORU leads the league and ranks 14th nationally in steals per game. The Golden Eagles are averaging 16.5 steals per game, tops in The Summit League while Colorado State leads the nation at 22 spg.
► Three starters from last year's team return with Dorottya Balla, Faith Ihim and Jordan Doyle. Balla is the leading returning scorer for ORU after averaging 8.5 points per game. Ihim will look to fill the gap left by McIntyre as she averaged 4.6 boards per game while Doyle led the team in assists with 2.0 last season.
