► Oral Roberts is coming off its second consecutive PSO Mayor's Cup victory against the University of Tulsa with a 2-1 mark. It marks the first back-to-back wins for ORU since the 2008-09 seasons heading into a busy week for the Golden Eagles. ORU will play four games in seven days starting with Tuesday night's matchup with Little Rock.
► Sophomore Faith Ihim has emerged as a leader for ORU both offensively and defensively. Ihim enters the week averaging 12.7 points per game and her 3.3 steals per game also leads all Summit League players through the first two weeks of the season.
► Newcomer Bria Pitts has proven to be a go-to-player for the Golden Eagles leading the team in scoring at 13 points per game. Pitts ranks among the top 50 in the nation in three-pointers per game and is shooting 45 percent from beyond the arc.
► Having one of the youngest teams in the country it's no coincidence a redshirt-freshman and true freshman have provided important minutes for the Golden Eagles. Jasauen Beard and Ashley Beatty have been two of the most reliable players for ORU with Beard averaging 9.7 points per game and Beatty at 6.3 ppg.
► While the offense has been spread evenly through the first three games, the defense has been equally impressive if not more so. The Golden Eagles currently rank as the top Summit League team in field goal percentage defense holding to teams to just 32.2 percent and ranking 39th in the nation. ORU has also put a lock down on opposing teams holding all three opponents under 70 points to post a 55.0 point defensive scoring average - tops in The Summit League and 71st in NCAA Division I.
► In addition to the solid defense ORU currently ranks 10th in the country in steals per game averaging 14.7 per contest. With double digit steals in all three games so far this season the Golden Eagles also rank at the top of The Summit League.
