TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team will host the Houston Baptist Huskies Saturday, November 25 at 12:30 p.m. inside the Mabee Center.

  • In their last meeting, ORU defeated Houston Baptist 75-64 in Houston, Texas, on November 26, 2016. It will be the first the Huskies will visit the Mabee Center since January 2, 2014.
  • Junior forward, Maria Martianez scored 11 points in the team's last game against Arkansas. Martianez went 3-for-8 overall and was one rebound shy of a double-double.
  • Senior Faith Ihim scored her 1,000th career point against Arkansas and became the 20th player to score at least 1,000 points during her career. She also has more than 500 rebounds, which makes her the 10th player in ORU women's basketball history to have more than 1,000 points and at least 500 rebounds.
  • ORU was picked to finish fourth in The Summit League according to the preseason poll. Faith Ihim and Maria Martianez were named to the Summit League preseason all-league second team.
  • Last game, Sarah Garvie scored 12 points and Montserrat Brotons set a season high of 11 points.
  • Head Coach Misti Cussen will begin her sixth season at the helm for the Golden Eagles and holds a 75-83 overall head coaching record.
