TULSA, Okla. - A strong offensive night powered the Oral Roberts women's soccer team to its third victory of the season after defeating Incarnate Word, 3-1 Friday night at the Case Soccer Complex.

Brittney Lawrence, Kayla Keller and Caitlyn Hanslovan led the way for the Golden Eagles. ORU did not waste any time getting on the board as the team came out firing on all cylinders in the first few minutes. Lawrence connected on her second career goal in an ORU uniform just five minutes into the match to put Oral Roberts on top.

ORU took a 16-1 shot-advantage into the locker room at the break thanks in part to great ball control and aggressive defense.

UIW would finally get on the board 48 seconds into the second half, but that would be all the Cardinals would be able to do offensively after being held to four attempts on goal.

Keller would give the team the lead for good in the 58th minute after Maria Stordahl sent a pass past the defense allowing Keller to finish inside the box.

Hanslovan, a sophomore, put the match completely out of reach in the 82nd minute when she scored her second goal of the season. Freshman Chloe Basnett picked up her first assist as a Golden Eagle.

Turning Point
Twelve minutes after Incarnate Word tied the match at one each, senior forward Kayla Keller broke the put ORU ahead for good with a goal.
