TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team scored four goals in the first half to give the Golden Eagles a 4-1 victory over Abilene Christian Friday evening at the Case Soccer Complex.
Sierra Beall scored the first goal for ORU and gave the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute when she scored from 18 yards out in the center of the field. Lexi Jones was credited with the assist.
ORU made it a 2-0 game in the 25th minute when Caitlyn Hanslovan scored her first goal of the season. Hanslovan connected with the back of the net on an Amanda Dial cross pass. Amanda Dial and Caroline Frank each were credited with an assist.
Amanda Dial gave the Golden Eagles a 3-0 lead when she put the ball in to the goal off of a keeper save deflection in the 26th minute. Her goal was unassisted.
Freshman Jessica Misquez scored her first goal of the season and ORU's fourth goal in the first half when she connected with the back of the net from 12 yards out in the 31st minute. Alexia Herrera was credited with the assist.
Abilene Christian's Shay Johnson cut the Wildcats deficit to three in the 48th minute. Johnson scored a header goal off of a Dylan Owens corner kick. Owens was credited with the assist

- Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl started and played 90 minutes for ORU. Bohnenstiehl recorded four saves and allowed one goal.
