TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team returns to the Aerobics Center for its Summit League home opener Friday against IUPUI followed by a Sunday meeting with IPFW.
The Golden Eagles and Jaguars share 2-0 Summit League records and will battle Friday with first serve scheduled for 7 p.m. ORU will continue its homestand with a Sunday matinee against IPFW at 1 p.m.

► The Golden Eagles enter the second weekend of Summit League play against the 2013 Champion, IUPUI on Friday and IPFW on Sunday. ORU and IUPUI sit tied after the first week at 2-0 with Omaha in league action.
► Sophomore Laura Milos is making her case for Summit League Player of the Year honors as she leads the league in several offensive categories. Milos also ranks nationally in those categories at 5th with 4.85 kills per set, 11th with 5.10 points per set and 8th with 267 total kills.
► Setter, Lucija Bojanjac is coming off one of her best weeks of her young career. Bojanjac set a Summit League season-high for assists with 61 at South Dakota State as she continues to lead The Summit League with 11.05 assists per set and ranks 34th nationally.
► Milos is currently riding a streak of four straight double-doubles and three straight matches of 20 or more kills. During that stretch the sophomore is averaging an impressive 5.24 kills per set with 89 kills and a .254 hitting percentage.
► Shelby Cox has also been a key component to the ORU offense leading the Golden Eagles with a .286 hitting percentage in the last four matches. On the season Cox leads ORU and ranks third in The Summit League with a.346 hitting percentage.
► Defensively ORU has seen improvement at the net as senior Jovana Poljasevic ranks 10th in The Summit League with 0.80 blocks per set and has totaled 80 through 13 matches. Joining Poljasevic is freshman Tori Roe who ranks 7th in the conference with 3.53 digs per set. Roe has recorded at least 16 digs in her last four matches including 20 in a win at South Dakota State.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
► IUPUI heads to Tulsa winning their last two matches including a 3-2 win over defending champion Denver at home. Kaitlyn Hickey leads the Jags as her 4.27 kills per set rank second in The Summit League as do her 4.89 points per set.
► The Jaguars as a team lead The Summit League in assists per set (13.36) and kills per set (14.02) while Alexis Mapes ranks third in the league with 10.02 assists per set. IUPUI also enters with two of the defending Players of the Week, Hickey and Courtney Halter.
► IPFW has lost three straight matches and six of their last seven with just three wins on the season heading into the weekend's matches. All three losses for IPFW have also been 3-0 sweeps.
► Somer Johnson paces IPFW as she ranks 3rd in The Summit League with 4.05 kills per set and total points with 264. Defensively the Mastodons have been solid led by Olivia Hahn who is second in the league in digs and digs per set with 4.32 and 272, respectively.
UP NEXT FOR ORU
ORU continues it homestand next Friday against Omaha before splitting the weekend with a northern road trip. The Golden Eagles will head to South Dakota next Sunday for a noon first serve.
