TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts University volleyball team will host South Dakota and South Dakota State Friday and Saturday as both matches have time changes. Friday's match against South Dakota will start at 3 p.m. while Sunday's first serve will come at 1 p.m.
The Golden Eagles begin the second half of Summit League play against South Dakota in serach of season split after falling to the Coyotes on the road earlier this season. Sunday's match will see ORU look for a season sweep of the Jackrabbits and win their fourth straight against SDSU.

► The Golden Eagles start the second half of The Summit League season at 5-3 in conference play and third in the league standings. ORU open the weekend looking to pick up a win against South Dakota after a road loss and sweep the season series vs. South Dakota State on Sunday.
► Both matches have seen start times changed including Friday's match to a 3 p.m. first serve at the Aerobics Center. Sunday's action will start at 1 p.m. against South Dakota State.
► Sophomore Laura Milos finished the first half of Summit League play with all-America numbers. After earning her third Summit League Player of the Week honors and currently ranks fourth in NCAA Division I in kills (5.03), sixth in points (5.40), fifth in attacks (12.58) and second in total kills with 397. Carnae Dillard of North Texas - a 2015 ORU opponent - leads the nation with 480 kills.
► Milos currently has been one of the top offensive players in The Summit League with three straight matches of 20 or more kills and eight of her last nine matches. She has tallied 20 or more kills 13 times this season including a season-best 33 in an upset of Marquette on Sept. 4. In just her second season Milos is also just one kill shy of 900 for her career.
► Setter, Lucija Bojanjac continues to lead The Summit League in assists and assists per set. Bojanjac ranks 39th nationally with 10.94 assists per set and ranks 21st in total assists with 875. The Sophomore has also climbed into the top 10 for assists in the ORU record books.
► Shelby Cox completed an impressive defensive weekend after posting six blocks at Denver and another four in a win over Western Illinois on Sunday. Cox now has 53 blocks this season after recording 73 in her freshman season.
► The Golden Eagles have played one of the toughest schedule in the nation facing five teams ranked in the top 100 and three in the top 50.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
► South Dakota enters Friday's match winning three of their last four including a win over ORU in Brookings, S.D. The win over ORU snapped a four game losing streak as the Coyotes sit at 3-5 in the standings.
► The Coyotes are led by Brittany Jessen and Audrey Reeg. Jessen ranks second in The Summit League with 10.56 assists per set while Reeg is fourth with 3.56 kills per set. In the first meeting with ORU, Reeg was one of four players for USD to tally double figure kills leading the way with 19 while Jessen finished with 52 assists.
► South Dakota State has won two of their last three matches, however their two wins snapped a 16-game losing streak for the Jackrabbits. With just two league wins on the season, SDSU is trying to split the season series with ORU, giving the away team each a win during the regular season.
► The Jackrabbits have been led by Ashley Beaner who averages 2.37 kills per set. Offensively she is joined by Wagner Larson who has posted a .261 hitting percentage through 22 matches. In the last meeting with ORU, the Jackrabbits pushed the Golden Eagles to five sets before falling. Mikala Hora led SDSU with 15 kills while Beaner added 11.
UP NEXT FOR ORU
The Golden Eagles start a four match road trip next weekend into Indiana starting Friday at IPFW. Sunday's match will start November as first serve will get underway at noon.
