Milos and Bojanjac Named All-Summit League

ELMHURST, Ill. – Oral Roberts University sophomores, Laura Milos and Lucija Bojanjac, were named to the All-Summit League Team Thursday night as voted on by the league's head coaches.

Milos earned a spot on the All-Summit League Team after being named Newcomer of the Year last season as a freshman. She led the league in nearly every offensive category while ranking second in NCAA Division I in kills, kills per set; third in points per set and fourth in service aces. She also finished the season with at least 20 kills in 14 of the final 17 matches.

A native of Porec, Croatia, Milos earned Summit League Player of the Week five times, tying a league record for most honors in a season. She also moved into the top four of the ORU and Summit League single-season kills record book and currently ranks second for kills per set in the ORU record book and third for The Summit League. Milos crossed 1,000 kills for her career to move into the top 10 in the ORU record book and set conference and school single-game record for aces in a match with 12 against South Dakota State.

Bojanjac led The Summit League in assists for a second consecutive season with 10.88 assists per set and 1,229 total assists. Both marks rank 39th and 14th best in the nation entering Friday's Summit League Tournament.

A native of Zagreb, Croatia, Bojanjac set a career-high 69 assists at IUPUI and posted 50 or more assists nine times. The sophomore also finished the regular season with 14 double-doubles, giving her 25 double-doubles for her career.

Kaitlyn Hickey of IUPUI earned Player of the Year honors, while Kimberly Bailey of Omaha was tabbed as the league's Defensive Player of the Year. Brittany Jessen of South Dakota earned Setter of the Year honors and IPFW's Nicole Rightnowar earned League Newcomer of the Year accolades. Omaha's Rose Shires was tabbed as Summit League Coach of the Year.
