TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team faces a quick turnaround heading to Macomb, Illinois for a mid-week matchup against Western Illinois Tuesday at 5 p.m. The Golden Eagles are coming off a five-set, road win over South Dakota State Friday and attempt to even their record in The Summit League against the 1-11 Fighting Leathernecks.

►The Golden Eagles continue an extended, late-season road trip at Western Illinois trying to secure a spot in The Summit League tournament with five matches to play in the regular season. ORU is currently in sixth place at 5-6 and just two wins from being in third place, while WIU enters the day ninth at 1-11. The Leathernecks have lost 10 straight, including all nine in October, and been swept in each of their last four matches.
►For the fourth time in eight weeks this season, an ORU player was named The Summit League's Offensive Player of the Week after Laura Milos picked up the honor Oct. 17. It was her third time landing the honor in 2016 and ninth of her storied career, while junior Shelby Cox earned the title for the first time in her career Oct. 10.
►Both Milos and Lucija Bojanjac continue to climb up the ORU career leaderboards this season. Behind a 26-kill performance at South Dakota State Oct. 28, Milos moved into fourth place all-time in kills with 1,563 career kills. Bojanjac recently moved up to fourth in career assists and now has 3,386 during her three-year career.
►ORU completed the nonconference schedule with an 8-6 record including a thrilling 3-0 sweep of Arkansas in the home opener. It was the third win in a row for ORU in the series against the Razorbacks and came in front of an Aerobics Center record crowd of 1,272 fans.
►Milos has continued her success on the court from last season earning national recognition. The junior leads the nation in total aces (71) and aces per set (0.83) and ranks in the top-10 nationally in several other categories. The Porec, Croatia native ranks second in attacks per set (13.97), while sitting third in kills per set (5.56), points per set (6.54), points (562.5), and fifth in total kills (478). She also is The Summit League's leader in seven statistical categories in 2016.
►One constant for the Golden Eagles this year has been the play of its setter in Lucija Bojanjac. The junior leads the team with 849 assists on the year, while ranking fourth in The Summit League. A native of Zagreb, Croatia, she has seven matches this season with at least 40 assists. In a 33-set performance against Arkansas, Bojanjac joined the 3,000 assists club and now has 3,386 for her career.
►As a team, Oral Roberts tops all 329 NCAA Division I programs in the country in service aces with 175 on the season led by Laura Milos who is second in the nation with 65. The team also is third nationally at 1.99 aces per set in its aggressive style of serving.
