Greenlee Lands Summit League Player of the Week Honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Robert junior Bri Greenlee and Denver senior Becca Latham have earned The Summit League's Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively. The duo helped their respective teams to a perfect weekend on the road in league competition.


Greenlee's blocking in both matches helped the Golden Eagles to victories over Purdue Fort Wayne and Western Illinois. It was only her third-ever match in the middle blocker position in which she ended the weekend with 13 total blocks against the Mastodons and 11 against the Leathernecks.


Latham led the Pioneers on the offensive end recording double-digit kills in each of her matches this weekend. She tallied a total of 24 kills, a 3.43 kills per set average and a .266 hitting percentage in the two victories.

•         Received her first career weekly accolade

•         Totaled double-digit total blocks in each match posting a league-high 13 Friday before adding 11 Sunday

•         Recorded a career-best four solo blocks against Western Illinois, which ties for the NCAA lead in a four-set match

•         Currently the only player in the NCAA to post at least 11 blocks in multiple four-set matches this season

•         Earned her fourth career offensive player of the week award

•         Hammered down 12 kills and a .379 hitting percentage in the 3-0 win over South Dakota

•         Ranks second in the league in hitting percentage (.352) and fourth in kills per set (3.33)
