TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts volleyball begins a pivotal stretch of matches in Summit League play welcoming North Dakota to the Aerobics Center for the first time in program history Friday night at 7 p.m. The Golden Eagles quickly get back on the road to South Dakota to face the Coyotes at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

•ORU enters its most difficult stretch of the campaign playing three matches in five days, including two on the road to finish the week. The Golden Eagles had their three-match winning streak snapped last Sunday at Summit League-leading Omaha and play two of the teams currently above them in the conference standings.

•Increased consistency at the net by ORU in 2018 has led to an average of 2.09 blocks per set. Junior Bri Greenlee's dominant blocking effort in early October not only earned her Defensive Player of the Week honors, but moved her to seventh in the conference averaging 1.00 blocks per set, while sophomore Morgan Blomquist ranks eighth in total blocks (69). Greenlee remains the only player in the NCAA to post 11 or more blocks in multiple, four-set matches this season.

•Libero Tori Roe currently ranks 45th in the nation with 377 digs, totaling 16 or more in 15 of 19 appearances this season, including a career-best 28 on four occasions. The senior ranks second in the conference averaging 4.90 digs per set and needs 141 digs to move into third all-time in ORU history sitting at 1,450 digs.

•Six hitters have crossed the century mark in kills with Katarina Mikulic leading the team with 153. CeCe Madison continues to lead ORU averaging 2.83 kills per set.

Bria Bergman has averaged 9.56 assists per set, ranking fifth in the league, after a 50-assist performance against the Jacks last week. The senior is the top attacking setter in the conference with 77 kills and paces the Golden Eagles with 10 double-doubles this year.

•North Dakota makes its first trip to ORU's campus currently in fourth place in The Summit League standings, but have dropped four of its last five matches. The Fighting Hawks are led by freshman libero Taliyah Flores and her conference-best 459 digs, while junior Kayla Williams averages 3.21 kills per set pacing the offense.

•South Dakota has split each of its last two weekends winning twice on the road at South Dakota State and North Dakota with home losses to Denver and Omaha. The Coyotes lead the league with 18.30 digs per set as a team behind Anne Rasmussen's 5.53 per set. Outside hitter Hayley Dotseth averages a conference-leading 3.96 kills per set and has reached double figures in each of the last 19 outings.

•Head Coach Sheera Sirola, ORU's all-time winningest coach, welcomed two newcomers to the lineup, both freshmen, as setter Sylvia Lawson (Joplin, Missouri) and outside hitter Inka Inkret (Ivanec, Croatia) joined the squad for 2018. Inkret has become a go-to option offensively leading the team in kills five times.

•The Golden Eagles have reached the conference tournament each of the last six seasons, including a spot in the 2017 championship match. ORU made its first postseason appearance since 2006 when it was invited to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship last year.
