TULSA, Okla. – A difficult road stretch closes for the Oral Roberts volleyball team Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. match at North Dakota State playing its third match in five days as the teams jostle for position in The Summit League standings. It will be the first of two meetings between the two teams in a two-week stretch.

•ORU plays its third match in a five-day span covering three states when it faces North Dakota State Tuesday night. The Golden Eagles hold a slim lead in The Summit League standings over the Bison for the sixth and final spot in the postseason tournament, while remaining just a win behind fourth place.

•Increased consistency at the net by ORU in 2018 has led to an average of 2.10 blocks per set. Junior Bri Greenlee's dominant blocking effort of late not only earned her Defensive Player of the Week honors, but has her ranked seventh in the conference averaging 1.04 blocks per set, while sophomore Morgan Blomquist also is in the top 10 in total blocks (74). Greenlee remains the only player in the NCAA to post 11 or more blocks in multiple, four-set matches this season.

•Libero Tori Roe currently ranks 35th in the nation with 423 digs, including a career-best 28 on four occasions, helping ORU rank 13th in the NCAA averaging 17.82 digs per set as a team. The senior ranks second in the conference averaging 5.04 digs per set and needs 95 digs to move into third all-time in ORU history currently sitting at 1,496 digs.

•Six hitters have crossed the century mark in kills with Katarina Mikulic leading the team with 164. CeCe Madison continues to lead ORU averaging 2.85 kills per set, while Inka Inkret has paced the team in four of its last seven outings.

Bria Bergman has averaged 9.65 assists per set this season, ranking fifth in the league. The senior is the top attacking setter in the conference with 81 kills and paces the Golden Eagles with 12 double-doubles.

•North Dakota State returns home after a pair of road losses at Denver and Omaha over the weekend and has dropped three-straight league matches overall. Offensively, the Bison are led by Allie Mauch (2.65) and McKenzie Burke (2.59) in kills per set, while Abbi Klos paces the defense averaging 3.76 digs per set in 2018.

•Head Coach Sheera Sirola, ORU's all-time winningest coach, welcomed two newcomers to the lineup, both freshmen, as setter Sylvia Lawson (Joplin, Missouri) and outside hitter Inka Inkret (Ivanec, Croatia) joined the squad for 2018. Inkret has become a go-to option offensively leading the team in kills six times.

•The Golden Eagles have reached the conference tournament each of the last six seasons, including a spot in the 2017 championship match. ORU made its first postseason appearance since 2006 when it was invited to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship last year.
