Lucija Bojanjac is back for her second season on the Oral Roberts volleyball coaching staff as the graduate assistant for 2019. The program’s all-time leader in set assists returned to her alma mater in 2018 as the volunteer assistant. She will continue to focus on setting drills and tactics, while helping during matches and various administrative tasks.
 
Bojanjac picked up coaching immediately following her playing career at ORU and has coached Club One Volleyball since the start of 2018 working with teams age 12 to 18. She also offers private, high-performance lessons and has worked with Coach Sirola during summer camps and clinics on campus.
 
As a four-year starter with ORU from 2015-18, she set the Golden Eagles’ set assist record in a road match at North Dakota State October 1, 2018. Bojanjac finished her tenure with 4,215 career set assists, which ranks eighth in Summit League history.
A Summit League All-Freshman Team honoree in 2015, Bojanjac followed that award with first team all-conference accolades as a sophomore. She closed her ORU career playing in 453 sets across 121 matches and averaged 9.30 assists per set, while adding 927 digs.
 
A native of Zagreb, Croatia, Bojanjac graduated from Oral Roberts with a degree in international business in 2018. She currently works as a full-time recruiter with Addison Group, a staffing agency in Tulsa.
