Golden Eagles Opens Season at Bob Timmons Classic

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Oral Roberts men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2019 season on Saturday morning at the Bob Timmons Classic at the Rim Rock Farm.

 

NEWS AND NOTES
- 13 Golden Eagles entered the competition, including eight women and five men.
- The men ran an 8k course, while the women ran a 6k race.
- All five Golden Eagles on the men's side donned the blue and gold for the first time in their career.
- Junior college transfer Emmanuel Kipngetich led the men placing sixth overall, while Alexa Granderson led the women finishing 18th.
