Golden Eagles Complete 30th Annual Missouri Southern Stampede

JOPLIN, Mo. – The Golden Eagles battled through wet and soggy conditions to complete the 30th Annual Missouri Southern Stampede. Alexa Granderson led the women in the 5k, while Emmanuel Kipngetich led the men in the 8k. The races combined featured 564 runners.

 

NEWS AND NOTES
- For the second consecutive race, Alexa Granderson and Emmanuel Kipngetich each led their teams.
- The men's 8k featured 286 runners, while the women's 5k had 278 entries.
- ORU women placed 17th out of 33 teams and the men finished 24th out of 30 teams.
- It was the second 8k the men have competed in this year and the first 5k the women have entered.
