FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team suffered their first defeat in Summit League play with a 4-1 loss to IPFW, Friday afternoon in Fort Wayne, Ind.

ORU's Lina Semenova (Minsk, Belarus) and Tayler Pippin (Sand Springs, Okla.) dropped an 8-5 decision at the top doubles position to IPFW's Amy Recht and Ingrid Ballus, while Ekaterina Kondrashova (Moscow, Russia) and Tori Dollar (Waxahachie, Texas) fell to Raquel Vescovi and Yuka Kobayashi by a score of 8-5 at the No. 3 spot.

Ana Costa (Brasilia, Brazil) scored the lone win for the Golden Eagles in singles play with a 6-3, 0-6, 6-3 victory against Katie Brien at the No. 4 position.

ORU wraps up regular-season play against Western Illinois at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
