LUBBOCK,
Texas-Texas Tech's Sarah Ellison scored the game's only goal to
lead the Red Raiders to a 1-0 win over Oral Roberts, Sunday at the
Red Raider Classic.
After a
scoreless first half, Ellison scored in the 57th minute off an
assist from Jessica Disabella.
Texas Tech
managed 23 shots in the game, though only eight were on-goal. ORU
keeper Amanda Wheeler finished with seven saves.
The Golden
Eagles were far more efficient, getting four shots on-goal on just
six total shots.
Lauren Parks
and Whitney Brannan were named to the all-tournament team.
