DENVER – The Oral Roberts University women's tennis team fell 7-0 at the University of Denver Friday evening to close their regular season.

The Golden Eagles finished 7-12 overall as Denver won its third straight match and finished a perfect 6-0 in Summit League play and 12-8 on the year, while ORU finished 2-5 in the conference.

The middle of the lineup for the Golden Eagles pushed the Pioneers, however the defending league champion proved to be too much as they won 7-0.

Match Recap
- Marizanne Bouwer had the closest singles match for ORU falling 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 3 position. Bouwer falls to 8-7 in singles as it was also her first conference loss of the year.
- Andrada Gordan took the first set at No. 2 singles before falling to Julia O'Loughlin, 2-6, 6-0, 1-0.
- Brenda Mercado and Andrada Gordan also had the closest doubles match at the No. 3 position for the Golden Eagles before falling 8-2.
