Golden Eagles Post Pair of Shutouts vs Grambling

The Short Story: The Oral Roberts women's tennis team swept a double-header from Grambling State with a pair of shutouts on Friday. ORU opened morning action at the Case Tennis Center with a 6-0 win before heading outdoors to Bixby High School and earning a 7-0 win.

Jovana Antonijevic opened with a sound 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles and also teamed with Petya Simeonova at No. 1 doubles for a 6-1 win.

Ceijenia Cornelius also capped the afternoon with an impressive win at No. 2 singles winning 6-2, 6-0. She teamed with Andrada Gordan at No. 1 doubles to post a 6-2 win helping ORU with the sweep.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles finish a two-day group of matches with Grambling State on Saturday. Action begins Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at the Case Tennis Center.
