ARLINGTON, Texas - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team fell to Texas-Arlington 7-0 Friday morning, but rallied back to defeat Prairie View A&M 4-0 later that evening in Arlington, Texas.
The Golden Eagles claimed the doubles point and grabbed three singles wins against Prairie View A&M. Jovana Antonijevic and Petya Simeonova won at the No. 1 doubles spot 6-4, while Ceijenia Cornelius and Andrea Vasiljevic won 6-3 at the No. 2 doubles position.
Jovana Antonijevic claimed a 6-4, 6-1 victory at the No. 2 singles position against Prairie View A&M. Brenda Mercado and Ximenia Puentes grabbed wins at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions. Mercado won her match 6-4, 6-3 and Puentes won 6-1, 6-2.
