ARLINGTON, Texas - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team defeated Prairie View A&M 5-2 Saturday morning at the Arlington Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas.

The Golden Eagles claimed the doubles point and grabbed four singles wins against Prairie View A&M. Cece Cornelius and Andrea Vasiljevic won 6-3 at the No. 2 doubles position while Brenda Mercado and Ximenia Puentes won 6-4 at the No. 3 position.

Jovana Antonijevic claimed a 6-1, 7-5  victory at the No. 2 singles position against Prairie View A&M. Petya Simeonova captured at a win at the No. 4 singles position, 2-6, 6-3, 6-1. Brenda Mercado Jove won both sets with a 6-3 score at the No.5 position. Ximenia Puentes won at the No. 6 singles position 6-2, 7-6.

Up Next: ORU will play its first Summit League match of the season against South Dakota on Saturday, February 25 at 10 a.m. at the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
