TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team won its first Summit League match of the season, 5-2, Friday afternoon at the Bernis Duke Tennis Center.

ORU started off hot winning the double point. Gorana Kadijevic and Ceijenia Cornelius won at the No. 1 spot 6-1, while Jovana Antonijevic and Flavia Gutierrez claimed the point at the No. 2 spot winning 6-0.

Rai Sengupta grabbed a 6-3, 6-1 victory at the No. 4 spot. Valentin Gisbert came in to play at the No. 6 position and won in three sets, 1-6, 6-0, 6-1. Kadijevic won her first set at the No. 2 position in a 7-5 tiebreaker and 6-3 in the second set. Cornelius wrapped things up for ORU winning 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 at the No. 1 position.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles face North Dakota Saturday, March 16 at 12 p.m. at the Bernis Duke Tennis Center.
