TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis won its first match of the spring season with a 4-3 win over Montana State Friday night.

The Golden Eagles fell short in the doubles point, but the duo of Rai Sengupta and Andrea Vasilijevic won at No. 3, 6-3.

ORU won four singles matches to win, 4-3, overall. Oleksandra Nahurska won at the No. 1 spot, 6-3, 6-4. Aliksandra Lebedeva claimed at 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 win at No. 2. Ivana Babic won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3. Rai Sengupta got the fourth point at the No. 5 position, 6-4, 6-2.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles will play Monday, January 20 at 9 a.m. against Louisiana Tech at the Case Tennis Center.
