TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team defeated Northern Colorado, 4-2, Thursday afternoon in Greely, Colorado.

The Golden Eagles won four singles matches beginning with Oleksandra Nahurska claiming a 6-2, 6-4 victory to tie the dual, 1-1. Northern Colorado went up 2-1 before Regan Miley tied it, 2-2, with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 5.

"We got off to a slow start in doubles, but the girls did a great job bouncing back in singles," Head Coach Mark Milner said. "Playing at the altitude isn't easy so I'm proud to come out of Northern Colorado with a win. We're looking forward to our first league match against Denver tomorrow."

Ivana Babic gave ORU a 3-2 lead with a 7-6 tiebreaker win in set one and a 6-0 shutout in set two. Rai Sengupta clinched the dual for the Golden Eagles with a three set win. Sengupta played from behind after going down 3-6 in set one. She rallied back to with sets two and three, 6-3, 6-4.
