TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team fell, 7-0, at Denver in its first league match of the season Friday evening.

The Golden Eagles fell in both doubles matches to a tough Denver team. In singles play, Aliksandra Lebedeva managed to get as close a 6-4 in set two against the national ranked Pioneers.

"Denver is very tough," Head Coach Mark Milner said. "They showed why they are nationally ranked. We competed well at a few spots, but ultimately, Denver was too good."

Up Next: ORU will host Tulsa Monday, March 9 at 3 p.m. at the Bernis Duke Tennis Center.
