TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer program fell in tough fashion to the Western Illinois Leathernecks on Friday evening at the Case Soccer Complex.
The Golden Eagles and Leathernecks remained scoreless throughout the first half, with ORU showing impressive defensive prowess. ORU's defense negated several scoring scoring opportunities in the first 45 minutes of action.
Western Illinois scored the only goal of the match in the 72
nd minute on a one touch that slipped past
Louisa Ramsauer. The freshman goalkeeper made a career-high 11 saves in the contest – A number that is also the highest single-game total by any Summit League goalkeeper this season.
