TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts Director of Tennis Mark Milner has announced the signing of Abby Wise to the women's tennis team for the 2023-24 season, it was announced today.
 
A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wise comes to Oral Roberts from Holland Hall where she played for head coach Haley Martin. Wise is a two-time state champion from 2021 and 2022 and was a Tulsa World Player of the Year nominee.
 
"We are beyond thrilled to have Abby join the Golden Eagle family next year," Director of Tennis Mark Milner said. "She is an extremely high character young woman that comes from a great Tulsa family. She will be an awesome addition to an already solid ORU Women's Tennis program! Welcome, Abby!"

Wise is the daughter of Matt and Jennifer Wise. She chose ORU because of the Christian-based community, coaches, location, tennis program and academics. She plans to major in nursing and hopes to one day become a nurse practitioner.
