TULSA, Okla. - The No. 2 Oral Roberts women's tennis team fell in the Summit League semifinal round Friday morning against No. 3 South Dakota, 4-2, in Omaha, Nebraska, to close out the season.
 
ORU got things going early by claiming the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead. Aliksandra Lebedeva and Reagan Miley won 6-3 at the No. 1 spot followed by Oleksandra Nahurska and Flavia Gutierrez at No. 3, 6-4.
 
Arina Sorokina claimed the lone singles point with a 6-3, 6-1, victory at the No. 5 position.
 
The 2022 season was the best season for the Golden Eagles since 2016, which was the last time ORU earned 12 victories in a season.
