• ORU beat USAO in its lone exhibition game, 5-0, on Saturday, August 13.

• ORU landed two players on the Summit League preseason watch list, senior, Elle Abbey and sophomore, Sophie Nash.

• Last season, the Golden Eagles went 6-10-2, 3-5-1 on the season to finish 7th in the Summit League.

• This will be Austin Risenhoover's first game as the ORU head coach, and his first game being the head coach at the Division 1 level.

• Overall, the Golden Eagles returned 18 players and added 15 newcomers to the 2022 squad.

• This is the Lion's first season in the Southland Conference and NCAA Division 1.

• The Lions were picked to finish 8^th in the Southland Conference preseason poll.

• Head coach, Ashley Gordon, is entering her first season as head coach for the A&M-Commerce.

• Sophomore Karalie Morrison returns to the Lions after capturing the 2021 Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year honor and United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection.
