TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team competed in its first fall tournament of the 2022-23 season at the UCA Invite September 16-17 in Conway, Arkansas.
Golden Eagle doubles pair Chara Grammatikaki and Luna Morini swept flight three doubles going 3-0. Grammatikaki and Morini won round one over Southeast Missouri State, 6-2, and round three over Central Arkansas, 6-2. Sasha Lebedeva and Reagan Miley claimed a doubles win in flight one over Missouri State, 6-1.
In singles action, Lebedeva went 2-1 with wins in rounds one and two. In round one, she won a hard fought three-set match, 6-3, 2-6, (10-5). She then won again, 6-2, 6-1, over Central Arkansas. In flight two, Reagan Miley won, 7-6 (3), 3-6, (10-7), in round three over Missouri State. Newcomer, Chara Grammatikaki claimed victories in rounds two and three. In round two, Grammatikaki won, 6-3, 6-2 over Oklahoma Baptist and claimed round three with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Central Arkansas.
Luna Morini also had victories in two of her three rounds played with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Oklahoma Baptist in round one. She won by retire over Missouri State in round three.
