TULSA, Okla. – The ORU Women's Soccer team played its second of a four-game home stand Thursday evening against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and came out with the win, 2-0.

The Golden Eagles came out blazing, scoring two goals in the first 7 minutes of play.

The first goal of the game came within 20 seconds of kick-off. Mia Kitterman recorded her first goal of the season off of a long throw-in assist by Jordan Grigsby. Grigsby's throw landed within six feet of the goal right to the foot of Kitterman who had no trouble tapping it to the back of the net, giving ORU the early 1-0 advantage.

Julia Thasaphong got a piece of the action just five minutes after Kitterman's goal when she scored the second goal of the night for the Golden Eagles. Her second goal of the season came off of assists from Mia Kitterman and Ava Crimmings. Crimmings made a pass up the middle to Kitterman who then passed it up to Thasaphong who had an easy shot and was able to connect.

Oral Roberts dominated the entire game, remaining on the attack for majority of the game. The Golden Eagles took a total of 27 shots while holding the Golden Lions to just eight shots.

Louisa Ramsauer produced another shutout for ORU, with five saves on the match, she now sits at five shutouts on the season.

"Winning Division 1 soccer games is hard. They had a lot of people behind the ball, we still created a lot of opportunities. It was a little disappointing that we didn't put the ball in the back of the net more, but a win is a win and it's time to move on to focus on the big game Sunday."
