KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team dismantled Kansas City, 5-2, Sunday night to finish 2-0 on the weekend road trip.

Five different Golden Eagles scored during the match, giving ORU its highest goals scored in a match since August 2022.

Jordan Grigsby kicked off the scoring at the four minute mark when she knocked in the corner kick delivery from Samantha Guzman.

Fourteen minutes later, Kristi Keller found Julia Thasaphong who struck the delivery into the high center of the goal.

Kansas City broke free at the 26th minute as Brianna Castleberry put the Roos on the board.

Two minutes later, the Golden Eagles responded with their third score of the half. Carty Kingsbury gathered a loose ball outside the box, shot, and laced the back of the net.

ORU went into the break with a commanding 3-1 lead.

Seven minutes into the second half, Jordyn Blackburn played a perfect cross from the right side of the field that went past the defense and found Samantha See for the goal.

Brianna Castleberry scored her second goal of the night at the 60 minute mark, making it 4-2 ORU.

The Golden Eagles would strike one more time as Jordan Grigsby found Kristi Keller at the 81st minute, making the score 5-2 and securing ORU the victory.

Inside the Box Score
- Sunday's win marked the first time ORU has won two conference road games in a season since 2019.
- In the match, Kingsbury and Thasaphong notched their third goals on the year, Grigsby and See scored their second, and Keller recorded her first score.
- Keeper Alexa Riefer made six official saves while recording several timely punchouts and stops as well.
- As a team, the Golden Eagles tallied 12 shots with eight on goal.
- ORU had four corner kick opportunities, capitalizing on the first to open the scoring.
- Head Coach Austin Risenhoover continues to utilize his deep roster with 23 players stepping onto the field tonight.
