TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts cross country team and head coach
Alick Musukuma announced the upcoming 2023 season
schedule on Thursday.
"We have a great group of student-athletes coming in this fall," said Musukuma. "I am extremely excited about the cross country season."
For the sixth season in a row, the Golden Eagles will open the year in Lawrence, Kansas, for the Rim Rock XC Collegiate Challenge on September 2. ORU will then head to Stillwater, Oklahoma, for the Cowboy Jamboree on Sept. 23 before wrapping up the month at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on the 29th.
After the Golden Eagles conclude the regular season on October 14 at the Weis-Crockett Invitational in Stillwater, Okla., ORU heads to Brookings, South Dakota, for the Summit League Cross Country Championships on October 28.
The Golden Eagles are led by the return of three NCAA Midwest Regional qualifiers,
Avery Mazzei,
Deborah Mazzei and
Macey Penner.
