• The Lions are picked to finish second in the Southland Conference preseason poll, the highest preseason ranking for any A&M-Commerce team since moving to Division 1.
• The Lions retained four all-conference players from last year's team.
• Head Coach Ashley Gordon is entering into her second year with A&M-Commerce after leading her team to a 9-9-2 record last season.
