CONWAY, Ark. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team fell to Central Arkansas, 1-0, Thursday night in Conway, Arkansas.

The Golden Eagles looked to strike early in the opening period as Riley Baldwin and Samantha Guzman each registered a shot on goal in the first seven minutes but were denied by the Bears' keeper. In the closing minutes of the opening half, the two sides each recorded a shot on goal but were denied as the score remained 0-0 at the break. Overall, ORU outshot UCA 7-4 in the first 45 minutes. 

The Bears broke the scoreless tie in the 60^th minute, converting on their lone shot attempt of the second half. The Golden Eagles increased their offensive attack following the goal, totaling 14 shots with five on target, but were unable to convert as Central Arkansas held on for the 1-0 win.

ORU dominated the shot total, 24-5, with nine on goal. 

Samantha Guzman led the Golden Eagles with six shots in the match and two on goal.

In goal, Alexa Riefer registered one save.

ORU continues to exercise its depth as 20 Golden Eagles made an appearance in the contest.

The Golden Eagles totaled nine corner kicks to the Bears' one.
