BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team fell 1-0 on the road at South Dakota State in its final regular season match of the year.
 
The Golden Eagles enter the Summit League tournament as the #5 seed and face #4 Omaha on the road on Saturday, November 2 at 5:00 p.m.
 
ORU fell into an early hole in the ninth minute of play. The Jackrabbits put a shot on goal that Alexa Riefer saved, but then Katelyn Beulke capitalized on the rebound and put SDSU up one. The Golden Eagles managed just three shots in the first half as they faced a constant, strong wind blowing in their direction.
 
Once the teams switched sides of the field for the second half, ORU was able to string together better offensive looks. ORU matched its first-half shot total in just nine minutes of the second half. While the Golden Eagles generated several quality looks at the Jackrabbit goal, they were unable to convert any of them into an equalizer. ORU would fall 1-0 to SDSU in Brookings.
