DENVER, Colo. – The Oral Roberts women's tennis team picked up their second road win of the season defeating Metro State, 4-3, Friday afternoon from the Assembly Athletic Complex.

The Golden Eagles claimed the doubles point in a close race picking up wins on courts one and three. Chara Grammatikaki and Arina Sorokina secured a win on court one 7-6 (7-4) while freshman Cassie Cervantes and senior Zere Iskakova earned a 6-4 victory on court three.

In singles play, ORU's top three picked up wins to give the Golden Eagles the 4-3 win. Sasha Lebedeva won a three set battle on court three 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. Sorokina claimed her third straight singles victory defeating MSU's Hanna Haber on court two. Grammatikaki handled business on court three winning 6-2, 6-4 to give ORU the victory.

The Golden Eagles rank third in the Summit League standing.
