TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team is hosting its second annual Golden Girls Dinner on Monday, September 30, at the Five Oaks Lodge in Jenks, Oklahoma. The event is set to begin at 6 p.m.
 
This year's guest speaker is Oklahoma softball chaplain and author Sarah Roberts. In addition to her role in the OU softball program, Roberts has worked for FCA since 2003, where she's served coaches, athletes, and coaching spouses through her abilities to write, speak, and build relationships. Within FCA, Roberts has held many roles, including Oklahoma women's director, Oklahoma City Thunder wives chaplain, director for Atlanta/Fayette County, and Atlanta female staff development.

The Golden Girls Dinner will allow fans to intermingle with the ORU women's basketball staff and current players. Entry to the event costs $40 per person.
 
"Come meet the 2024-25 Golden Eagles and help us continue to grow our Golden Girls Club," said head coach Kelsi Musick. "This club gives our women's basketball team a strong foundation of women to help support them not only on the court but in life as well. We want to continue to grow this amazing group of strong women who invest time and prayers for our players."
