CONWAY, Ark. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team competed in their first fall tournament of the 2024-25 season at the UCA Invite in Conway, Arkansas.

In round one of singles, Ava Goodell secured her first collegiate win, defeating UCA 6-1, 6-0. Annelise Deer and Cassie Cervantes also picked up wins against APSU 6-3, 6-7(2) (10-4) and 6-1, 6-0, respectively.

In doubles play, the pair of Goodell and Sorokina went 2-1 with wins in rounds two and three. In round one, they handed ASU a 6-3 loss. They won their second match of the day on Sunday, in a neck-and-neck, 7-6(7), match over UCA.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles will participate in the ITA Regionals from October 9 – October 12 in Memphis, Tennessee.
