TULSA, Okla. – The Golden Eagles fell to the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks 2-5 at Southern Hills Country Club on Saturday evening.

The Golden Eagles put up a fight in doubles play, despite losing the point. Morini/Grammatakiki lost 5-7 to Cave/Chavez while Franzin/Wise fell 6-7 (1-7) to Rooth/Giannakogiorgou. The pair of Sorokina/Goodell picked up the sole win for the Golden Eagles in doubles play, defeating Mamontova/Back 6-3.
 
Stephen F. Austin won four of the six singles matches despite Sorokina (ORU) defeating Mamontova (SFA) 6-1, 6-4 and Franzin (ORU) defeating Taco (SFA) 6-1, 4-6, 6-4. Despite the loss, Cecilia Franzin picked up her first career singles win as a Golden Eagle.
