TULSA, Okla. – The ORU women's tennis team closed out their 2024-25 regular season on a high-note, clinching the #2 seed in the Summit League Tournament with a 5-2 win over Omaha.

In doubles play against St. Thomas, the pair of Grammatikaki/Morini picked up ORU's only doubles win, taking down Degeorges/Talavera 6-2. Against Omaha, the Golden Eagles dominated doubles as Sorokina/Cervantes and Goodell/Wise secured two 6-3 wins and the doubles point for ORU.

In singles play against the Tommies, five of the six singles matches went the distance as the Golden Eagles won courts one through four in three sets. Cassie Cervantes clinched the win, topping Anna Sidorenko 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.

Up Next: ORU heads to Denver, Colorado to take on the Omaha Mavericks in the Summit League Tournament on Friday, April 18^th at 6:00 PM.
