SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts junior Kevin An headlined the 2025 Summit League Men's Golf individual award winners, while his head coach, Lance Watson, earned Coach of the Year honors for the third time in his career as announced by League officials Tuesday.
These honors were voted on by the League's 11 head coaches.
An captured Summit League Championship MVP honors, winning a three-man playoff to earn medalist honors and lead the Golden Eagles to a team championship after posting a season-best 54-hole total of 206 (-7).
The Riverside, Calif., native became the first Golden Eagle to win the individual title since Jack Howes in 2021. He wrapped up his season with a tie for 33rd at the NCAA Bremerton Regional thanks to a final round 67 (-5). An and ORU posted the low team score of the day in round three as they tied for 10th.
Watson guided Oral Roberts to the program's eighth Summit League title and first since 2010 as the Golden Eagles posted a team score of 840 (-12) at the Longbow Golf Club. That mark tied South Dakota State's 2024 score for the second-lowest 54-hole total in Summit League Championship history.
